The 150 acre Royal Welsh Showground is open all year round. We host an array of exciting events set against the spectacular views of the Welsh countryside.
The Showground boasts many different venues catering for a variety of occasions such as weddings, business meetings, conferences, concerts, exhibitions and much more.

We are looking for a creative, dynamic and motivated Marketing & Social Media Officer to join our team playing a central role in the promotion and branding for the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society and events; including the Royal Welsh Show, Winter Fair and Smallholding & Countryside Festival.
Key Responsibilities
The role is both broad and varied; covering all aspects of Marketing for the Society and the three major events and will include:
The ability to converse in both English and Welsh is essential for this role.
Full-time hours: 36.25 hours per week. Hybrid and flexible method of working is possible as agreed with the Line Manager.
Salary: Circa £27,000 p.a. plus, a generous benefits and pension package

The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society is looking for a dynamic leader to take on the voluntary position of Director of Horticulture at the Royal Welsh Show.
The promotion of horticulture is one of the Society’s key charitable objectives and plans are underway to establish a new Horticultural Village at the 2024 Royal Welsh Show. The village will celebrate all aspects of horticulture in Wales – from community to commercial growing, competitive showing and displays, alongside promoting the health and social benefits of gardening, education and building a resilient supply chain of sustainable Welsh produce.
To help us deliver this vision, we are looking for a new voluntary Director to take a lead on the section. The role will involve:
