SHOWGROUND
The 150 acre Royal Welsh Showground is open all year round. We host an array of exciting events set against the spectacular views of the Welsh countryside.
The Showground boasts many different venues catering for a variety of occasions such as weddings, business meetings, conferences, concerts, exhibitions and much more.

The Game Meat Wales kitchen returns to the Smallholding & Countryside Festival this year to deliver healthy and versatile game dishes to inspire even the novice of cooks.
Join us in the Food Hall for cookery demonstrations with TV Chef and Author Nerys Howell as well as Chef Director of Michelin starred Beach House Restaurant Oxwich, Hywel Griffith and Chef/Lecturer Shaun Bailey from NPTC college group, Newtown.
Nerys Howell
Nerys is hosting the Game Meat Wales kitchen over the weekend, leading on game cookery demonstrations with guest chef appearances. Nerys Howell is a cook, broadcaster and author specialising in Welsh food and drink. She is a regular on TV and radio programmes in both Welsh and English and runs her own food company Howel Food Consultancy. She is the author of two bilingual books -Cymru ar Blat/Wales on a Plate and Bwyd Cymru yn ei Dymor/Welsh Food by Season.
Hywel Griffith
Head chef and Director of Michelin Starred Beach House Restaurant in Oxwich, South Wales, Hywel Griffith joins the Game Meat Wales kitchen this Sunday, bringing his passion for all things game meat which can be cooked simply using its natural flavour or combined with other seasonal ingredients that really bring out the diverse flavour of the meat.
Step inside ‘The Dome’ – an immersive, 360-degree dining experience by Food Innovation Wales as part of Project HELIX. Sample the wonders of Welsh food and drink, tantalising your tastebuds while surrounded by videos of rolling Welsh landscapes. From Smoked Salmon, to Lamb Carpaccio, this culinary tour of these top Welsh food and drink producers will transport you across land and sea.
