SHOWGROUND

The 150 acre Royal Welsh Showground is open all year round. We host an array of exciting events set against the spectacular views of the Welsh countryside.

The Showground boasts many different venues catering for a variety of occasions such as weddings, business meetings, conferences, concerts, exhibitions and much more.

Smallholding and Countryside Festival

A two-day celebration of smallholding and rural life with an action packed programme of entertainment, educational activities, demonstrations, livestock exhibits, food hall, street food and music area, hundreds of tradestands and exciting display ring performances.

The Smallholding and Countryside Festival has a huge range of commercial opportunities for companies with products including agriculture, horticulture, tourism, gardening supplies, arts and crafts, health and beauty, pet supplies, gifts, homeware and much more…

The 2024 Smallholding and Countryside Festival takes place on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May.

Applications for the 2024 Smallholding & Countryside Festival Tradestands are now open. The closing date for applications is Friday 1st March 2024.

Food & Drink

The Food and Drink quarter at the Smallholding and Countryside Festival consists of two distinct and separate areas for retail outlets and catering outlets. Retail outlets will be based in the Food Hall and catering outlets in the Welsh Food Village.

If you would like a stand within the Food Hall or Food Village please complete the relevant application form and send to foodhall@rwas.co.uk before 1st March 2024.
