The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society has played a leading role in the development of agriculture and the rural economy in Wales for over a century, since its formation in 1904.
Today our work includes providing support for business, social welfare and education in rural communities, and the organisation and staging of our ever-popular society events; the Smallholding and Countryside Festival, the Royal Welsh Show and the Winter Fair.
As one of the finest prime stock shows in Europe, the Royal Welsh Winter Fair draws crowds from far and wide to enjoy two-days packed full of competitions, festivities and Christmas shopping.
Join us to this years Virtual Winter Fair which will be packed full of competitions and festivities and an online Christmas Market where you will find all of your favorite tradestands!
The online Christmas Shopping experience will launch on Tuesday 10th November and will be open for a 6 week period in the lead up to Christmas.

The usual two-day event will also be showcased online on the virtual platform on the 30th November and the 1st December with numerous partners involved. The event will become a hub for agricultural business’ to access vital information, create new contacts within the industry and also offer a range of informative sessions over the two days. There will also be competitions and videos online to get the whole family involved with Christmas crafts you can do at home as we prepare for the festive season.

The Winter Fair will be held next on 29 – 30 November 2021 at the showground in Llanelwedd will once again be full of visitors, competitors and prize-winning livestock for the two-day event.
