The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society has played a leading role in the development of agriculture and the rural economy in Wales for over a century, since its formation in 1904.
Today our work includes providing support for business, social welfare and education in rural communities, and the organisation and staging of our ever-popular society events; the Spring Festival, the Royal Welsh Show and the Winter Fair.

The 150 acre Royal Welsh Showground is open all year round. We host an array of exciting events set against the spectacular views of the Welsh countryside.
The Showground boasts many different venues catering for a variety of occasions such as weddings, business meetings, conferences, concerts, exhibitions and much more.
Royal Welsh Show 2025 Equine Judges Announced
The Royal Welsh Show has long been a highlight of the agricultural and equestrian calendar, showcasing the very best in breeding, skill, and horsemanship. The 2025 event, set to take place at the Royal Welsh Showground in Llanelwedd, Builth Wells between the 21st and 24th of July, is expected to draw thousands of visitors and competitors, all eager to witness the pinnacle of equine excellence.
The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society is delighted to announce the esteemed panel of equine judges for the highly anticipated 2025 Royal Welsh Show. As one of the premier agricultural events in the UK, the Show continues to uphold its tradition of excellence in equestrian competition, attracting top competitors and enthusiasts from across the country and beyond.
The 2025 judging panel comprises a distinguished group of experts, each bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to the judging arena. Their expertise will ensure that the highest standards of competition are maintained across the various equine classes.
Adding to the excitement, the Supreme Horse Championship will feature a celebrity judge, whose identity will be revealed at a later date. This special guest promises to bring an added touch of prestige and anticipation to one of the Show’s most celebrated events.
