The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society has played a leading role in the development of agriculture and the rural economy in Wales for over a century, since its formation in 1904.
Today our work includes providing support for business, social welfare and education in rural communities, and the organisation and staging of our ever-popular society events; the Spring Festival, the Royal Welsh Show and the Winter Fair.

The day will include working machinery demonstrations in the field, forage trial plots covering a wide range of the latest crops and varieties, livestock equipment for the grassland farmer, plus a variety of trade stands and suppliers containing the full range of grassland and livestock requirements.
The main spectacles at the Grassland Event are of course the live demonstrations. The demonstration exhibitors and the machinery brands they will be showcasing include:
As well as plenty of live action at the event, visitors can also listen to some great guest speakers covering important topics in farming.
On the day of the event there will be a tractor and trailer transporting visitors around the site. Tickets are priced at £10 per person and can be purchased on the day at the gates. The organisers will have card machine but due to poor signal quality do encourage the use of cash.
