SHOWGROUND

The 150 acre Royal Welsh Showground is open all year round. We host an array of exciting events set against the spectacular views of the Welsh countryside.

The Showground boasts many different venues catering for a variety of occasions such as weddings, business meetings, conferences, concerts, exhibitions and much more.

Not only is today Dydd Santes Dwynwen, but this year, the prestigious Royal Welsh Show is celebrating its 100th show… and we want to share the love.

Along with a number of other commemorative touches to this year’s event, we are offering one lucky couple the opportunity to have an all-expenses paid wedding*, here on the showground, during the first day of our 100th Royal Welsh Show.

Surrounded by an intimate group of friends and family, the pair will tie the knot in our picturesque bandstand, in the heart of the busy and bustling showground.

Following the ceremony, the couple can enjoying a glass of chilled champagne whilst relaxing in the Presidents Box of the main ring grandstand (best seats in the house!). After a few precious minutes to themselves, watching the main ring attractions, the newlyweds will then join their guests for a delicious wedding breakfast.

It will certainly be a wedding to remember. With the hustle and bustle of the event and the excitement of the wedding, the atmosphere will be incredible and the photos will be amazing.

All nominations need to be made by 17 March 2019. Three shortlisted couples will be asked to attend a short interview at the showground at the end of March, with the successful pair announced thereafter.
