The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society has played a leading role in the development of agriculture and the rural economy in Wales for over a century, since its formation in 1904.
Today our work includes providing support for business, social welfare and education in rural communities, and the organisation and staging of our ever-popular society events; the Spring Festival, the Royal Welsh Show and the Winter Fair.

SHOWGROUND
The 150 acre Royal Welsh Showground is open all year round. We host an array of exciting events set against the spectacular views of the Welsh countryside.
The Showground boasts many different venues catering for a variety of occasions such as weddings, business meetings, conferences, concerts, exhibitions and much more.

Spring Festival
A two-day celebration of smallholding and rural life with an action packed programme of entertainment, educational activities, demonstrations, livestock exhibits, food hall, street food and music area, hundreds of tradestands and exciting display ring performances.
The Spring Festival has a huge range of commercial opportunities for companies with products including agriculture, horticulture, tourism, gardening supplies, arts and crafts, health and beauty, pet supplies, gifts, homeware and much more…
The 2025 Spring Festival takes place on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May.
Applications for the 2025 Spring Festival Tradestands are now open. The closing date for applications is Friday 28th February 2025.

Area Description
Food & Drink
The Food and Drink quarter at the Spring Festival consists of two distinct and separate areas for retail outlets and catering outlets. Retail outlets will be based in the Food Hall and catering outlets in the Welsh Food Village.
If you would like a stand within the Food Hall or Food Village please complete the relevant application form once available and send to foodhall@rwas.co.uk .
