Equine and Livestock Judges announced for the 2026 Royal Welsh Show - Royal Welsh

The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society has played a leading role in the development of agriculture and the rural economy in Wales for over a century, since its formation in 1904.

Today our work includes providing support for business, social welfare and education in rural communities, and the organisation and staging of our ever-popular society events; the Royal Welsh Show and the Winter Fair.

SHOWGROUND

The 150 acre Royal Welsh Showground is open all year round. We host an array of exciting events set against the spectacular views of the Welsh countryside.

The Showground boasts many different venues catering for a variety of occasions such as weddings, business meetings, conferences, concerts, exhibitions and much more.

The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society is delighted to announce the esteemed panel of equine and livestock judges for the highly anticipated 2026 Royal Welsh Show.

As one of the premier agricultural events in Europe, the Show continues to uphold its tradition of excellence in competition, attracting top competitors and enthusiasts from across the country and beyond.

The 2026 Show will take place at the Royal Welsh Showground in Llanelwedd, Builth Wells, from Monday 20th to Thursday 23rd July. The event is expected to welcome thousands of visitors and competitors, all eager to experience the very best of Welsh and British agriculture.

This year’s judging panel brings together a distinguished group of experts, each offering a wealth of knowledge and experience. Their expertise will help ensure the highest standards of competition are maintained across all classes, from Supreme Championships to Young Handlers.

Competition schedules will be available on the RWAS website from 1st April. Entry dates are as follows: Equine entries open on 15th April, Cattle, Pigs and Goats on 22nd April, and Sheep on 29th April. All entries close on Wednesday 20th May.
