SHOWGROUND

The 150 acre Royal Welsh Showground is open all year round. We host an array of exciting events set against the spectacular views of the Welsh countryside.

The Showground boasts many different venues catering for a variety of occasions such as weddings, business meetings, conferences, concerts, exhibitions and much more.

Children’s Competitions

*All entries to be sent to marketing@rwas.co.uk by 12pm on the 18th July 2021*

*Please note that with submitting your entry and video you are giving consent for us to announce your child’s name and show their video / image on our social media platforms and the virtual Royal Welsh show if they have been successful.*

*Winners will be announced during the week of the virtual Royal Welsh Show 19th- 22nd July 2021*

*Winners will receive Free entry to the next Royal Welsh show for themselves and 1 adult*

Young Handlers

From Heifers to Hunters, Silkies to Saddlebacks, Toggenburgs to Texels we would love to see your Young Handler entries for this year’s Virtual Royal Welsh Show!

  • The video is to be between 1–2 minutes long
  • Remember to record the video in landscape orientation
  • The video must include; you showing your chosen animal in their usual format of showcasing the animal, your name, age and an interesting fact about the animal you are showing.
  • The competition is open to anyone 16 and under
  • The competition is open for you to show any animal

The Most Creative Fruit or Vegetable Animal

Whether you use a bright white curly cauliflower or some deep shiny red tomatoes, send us a picture of your best and unusual creation.

Best Up-Cycled Sustainable Garden Project

Have you made any new pieces for your garden using recyclable items, send us your pictures of your new plant pots to hanging baskets that you have created.

3 Decorated ‘Bee’ themed biscuits

Do you like decorating things that you can eat? Why not have a go and decorate 3 biscuits with a Bumblebee theme.

Ornamental Ironwork Lockdown Creations

We would love to see your creations that you have made with anything associated with farriery or ironwork through lockdown.

  • It must have been handmade and not bought as a finished item
