SHOWGROUND
The 150 acre Royal Welsh Showground is open all year round. We host an array of exciting events set against the spectacular views of the Welsh countryside.
The Showground boasts many different venues catering for a variety of occasions such as weddings, business meetings, conferences, concerts, exhibitions and much more.

Yes. All adults aged 18 years of age and over will need to provide evidence of either a COVID Passport or a Negative Lateral Flow Test at the point of entry in order to gain access to the event.
If you have tested positive for COVID-19 and are self-isolating during the Winter Fair, meaning you cannot attend, refunds will considered only if you can provide evidence of your positive result and the dates you were asked to self-isolate.

You can easily get lateral flow tests from the NHS website for home delivery

With the exception of assistance dogs, dogs are not permitted within the showground perimeter fence. NO ASSISTANCE DOGS are allowed in any buildings/areas containing live animals. Assistance dogs will be allowed into the Food Hall and Catering Areas. Please do not leave dogs in cars.
Face coverings must be worn inside all buildings at the Winter Fair to comply with the Welsh Government Coronavirus regulations. All types of face coverings will be accepted and will include all traders and exhibitors while they are inside buildings.
Face coverings need not to be worn when consuming food & drink or if you are exempt.
There is no facility to hire a mobility scooter on the Showground at the 2021 Winter Fair. If you require a mobility scooter please make the arrangements before coming to the event.
Disabled parking is located at the Winter Fair main entrance by the RWAS Members Pavilion.

Due to the Welsh Government Track and Trace regulations we are not able to offer free entry at this year’s Winter Fair. Please purchase your tickets before coming to the event here https://rwas.ticketsrv.co.uk/tickets/
If you have purchased a ticket and cannot attend on that day, please contact the RWAS team on 01982 553683 if you would like and want to swap to another day.
Please note: we cannot guarantee that you will be able to change your ticket if the tickets have sold out for the day you would like to attend.
The display will start at an earlier time of 6.30pm on Monday 29th November.
Please make sure you have a copy of your tickets (either downloaded or a paper copy) and if you are 18 years of age or older please make sure you have a copy of your COVID Passport (either downloaded or a paper copy) or proof of a negative LFT in order to gain access to the Showground.
All of our buildings will be well ventilated, including all windows and doors being open to comply with Welsh Government Coronavirus Regulations. As this is an extra COVID Safety measure that we have put in place to protect you, please dress appropriately and wrap up warm. We will also have Carbon Dioxide (CO2) monitors to measure levels and efficiency of ventilation across the Showground.
No. The Showground Campsite will not be open to allow people to stay during the Winter Fair event.
